Film Night

Introducing the inaugural Strive Film Night – it’s back on!

Film & pizza, Saturday 2nd March 7:30 at the Organ Inn, Warminster.

This will be an excellent film, sorry we can’t state which exactly due to copywrite. However it is a recent film, based on the career of a very famous formula one driver.  Definitely one to invite your mates to, Christians and not will both equally enjoy it.

Plan is to watch the film, eat a bit of pizza, and sample the hospitalities of The Organ Inn.  At no cost, but bring some cash for drinks, and we’ll ask for a donation towards the pizza.

February Men’s Breakfast – Saturday 23rd from 8.30

Time has arrived for the February men’s breakfast.  This month featuring news from Tanzania!

Come join us for a big breakfast and a chat.  This month we have our very own missionary dentist, Carl Fullaway to talk to us.  This will be a great opportunity to hear him share experiences from his recent trip to Tanzania with Bridge2Aid.

From 8:30 for a full English breakfast, Saturday 23rd February, Christ Church, Warminster.

24-7 Prayer

Exciting news, there is a 24-7 prayer event happening in Warminster!

The event runs Sunday 17 Feb 6pm through to Saturday 23 Feb 6pm at Christ Church.

There will be a series of prayer stations, all offering different ways to pray.

We encourage you to go and use this event, it will really help you to engage with God – superbly timed for Lent as well.  We’ve been fortunate enough to attend a few before, and they are really excellent times to find new ways to pray.

We have booked 8-9pm Tuesday 19 February as a Strive session.  Please do come along to that.  Timed to fit in after work, a perfect way to end your day!

Don’t let that limit you though, remember it’s a 24-7 event, you literally have all week to go & as many times as you like!

February Bible Study

Starting a new series in bible studies, a relaxed chat through the bible, join us as we explore the letter of James; Saturday February 9th, 8.30 in Christ Church Hall.  We continue to plan to make these meetings fit in a busy schedule, so we promise to finish by 9:30 at the latest.  

Previously we’ve been meeting once a month to look at Mark’s Gospel, finding out some amazing things as we shared together.  This month we move on to look into the letter of James.

Taking one chapter, reading it through and chatting through what we find. No experience of bible study is necessary, all you need is a thirst to find out more & a willingness to share.

This month we meet back in the Church Hall – we look forward to seeing you there!
